The space
The cabin sits on over 5 acres of beautiful Montana countryside. Conveniently located off US Highway 93 West, your retreat is only 7 miles to downtown Whitefish ( 10 minute ride), 45 miles from the Canada border ( Roosville ), and a quick 30 miles to Glacier National Park.

Biking and hiking trails are mere minutes from the cabin. A short bike ride down Beaver Lake Road leads you to the Whitefish Bike Retreat, 19 acres of wilderness bordering the Whitefish Trail System and seven small lakes.

Internationally-acclaimed golf course, Whitefish Lake Golf Club, is located less than 6 miles from the cabin, with Whitefish Mountain Resort (for all you skiing and mountain biking fans) only 14 miles way.

Montana is known for its world-class fishing. For those who love to fish, numerous streams and tributaries are nearby, as are several lakes, including Murray Lake (3 miles), Beaver Lake (6 miles), Stillwater Lake (8 miles), Whitefish Lake (10 miles) Dog Lake (13 miles), Tally Lake (14 miles).

As of June 2021, the home has undergone an entire professional remodel, and again in 2023 we replaced all the hardwood oak flooring throughout the main floor and is ready for you! The cabin sleeps 8, and comes fully equipped.

With 6 large, comfortable beds, and three high-quality and immediately inflatable queen size air mattresses, there's no lack of comfy sleeping arrangements! (One King, Two queens, one bunk bed (twin and Queen), Queen sofa sleeper.

Are there age restrictions for horseback riding?

Yes, for safety reasons, children must be at least 6 years old to participate in horseback riding. Younger children can enjoy other ranch activities under supervision. List of riding stables upon request

What should I bring for my visit to KC Ranch?

Bring your sense of Adventure. We recommend wearing comfortable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear. Don’t forget sunscreen, a hat, and water for hydration. We provide necessary equipment for activities.

Is there support available during my stay?

Absolutely. Our friendly staff is available around to assist with any questions or needs during your stay at KC Ranch.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand plans can change. Cancellations made 30 days in advance will receive a full refund September through May. For more specific inquiries, please reach out to us. (In the summer From May 22 until September 7 we have a no cancelation policy/Only credit for future stay )

Can I bring my pet to KC Ranch?

We love animals, but for the comfort and safety of all guests, we do not allow pets on the ranch.
